This company is using toys to teach kids Jesus words.
When I created The Talking Jesus Doll for my kids, I had no idea it would become a global mission.
But God did...
My young girls' favorite toys were stuffed animals. They were with them, morning, noon and night.
But they had no spiritual value. Like empty calories, but toys 🍬🍫🍭...
As a Christian parent, I felt like I missed an opportunity.
Why didn't we get them a plush Jesus that spoke Bible verses? ✝️
I felt like a bad parent - until I looked and realized it didn't exist.🔎
No Christian toys existed...
Was God showing me something? It really got me thinking...
And that thought played over and over in my head like the Macarena - I couldn't make it stop 🛑
So, we designed a doll and contacted hundreds of manufacturers. Only two responded. One nailed it. ✨
Of course, we wired our kids college savings to a company in half way around the world that we never met.
My faith was at least the size of a mustard seed. My friends said my brain was too... 🧠
Thankfully, they arrived! 🙏
We launched on Kickstarter and nearly hit our funding goal in 3 days! 🚀
But, this was cancel culture era. Kickstarter killed our project.
I guess "Love your neighbor" was now hate speech❤️
A barn full of dolls. No way to sell them.
Then God said: 'Hold my Water'…
Newsmax heard about the cancellation and put us on TV📺
Orders came in like fish in Peter's net on the other side of the boat! 🐟
From down-and-out to selling out in under a month.
God was driving. That was just the start...
