Yes! We designed it for safety. Jesus' facial features are embroidered for safety and durability. Its more expensive to do this but we never use plastic eyes that can pop off. And the doll is made from all new polyester.
And all of dolls are rigorously tested and passed with perfect scores all tests required by the US Consumer Product Safety Commission including ASTM-F963 1,2 & 3 which tests for flammability, toxicology, phthalates, small objects and more. We also passed the UL 4200A test that ensures the electrical and accessible safety of products with batteries. We have PA registration number PA-100518 (CN).

Dont worry! We ship your dolls with the circuit deactivated to keep the batteries fresh. To activate, open the Velcro on the back of the doll to access the voicebox. Pull out the rounded white plastic tab from of the voicebox. Now, push the button on his hand and now he talks! Here's a video just in case.
